Ok but counter wont reset

I like the GUI of tapping on each water glass. However, when I first downloaded it a couple of months ago I contacted the developer with a pretty obvious suggestion. I pointed out that the app badge that displays your remaining glasses of water towards meeting your goal does not reset at midnight. In other words, if your goal is a glasses a day, and on Monday you drink six glasses then the badge would say two when you went to bed. Logically, if eight glasses a day is your goal then the app badge should have reset to eight when you wake up the following morning. Instead in this example it would continue to display two glasses remaining towards your goal. This seems like a pretty obvious suggestion, however, it has yet to be incorporated and I think this is a weakness of the app.
